Websites for plumbers

$99/mo for the website · $198/mo with Business Profile help · $297/mo with Google Ads help too

We build and host websites for plumbing businesses for $99 a month.

You tell us what you fix, what you install, where you work and when you answer the phone. Someone standing in an inch of water finds your number fast.

What plumbing customers are looking for

Plumbing searches come in two kinds. The first is “something is leaking right now”:

  • A burst pipe
  • A backed-up sewer line
  • A water heater that quit
  • A toilet overflowing before guests arrive

That customer wants your number, proof you’re open and proof you come to their area.

The second kind is planned work: replacing a water heater before it fails, a tankless upgrade, repiping an older house, a remodel, a softener or filtration system.

Those customers want to know what the job involves, how long the water will be off, whether you pull permits and how you price it.

So the emergency details go at the top, and the longer explanations sit on the service pages.

What goes on a plumbing site we build

  • A call button on every page plus your real hours. If you take emergency calls at night or on weekends, the site says when, and whether there’s an after-hours rate. If you don’t, it says when you open.
  • Your license number, shown near your business name. Depending on where you work, that’s a state, county or city license; we show the number and type your area requires.
  • How you charge for a visit: a trip fee, flat-rate pricing by job, or free estimates for planned work. Publish only what you’ll stand behind.
  • Your service area as a sentence, naming the towns you really cover. We don’t make one page per city with the town name swapped; Google’s spam policies call that kind of page a doorway.

Service pages that make sense for plumbing

One page per service you really offer. Each says what the problem looks like, what you do and what to do while waiting, like where to shut off the water.

The usual pages

  • Water heater repair and replacement, tank and tankless
  • Drain cleaning
  • Sewer line camera inspection and sewer repair
  • Leak detection, including slab leaks where homes sit on slabs
  • Repiping
  • Fixture installs: faucets, toilets, disposals

Only if you offer it

  • Emergency plumbing
  • Water treatment: softeners and filtration you sell and service
  • Gas line work and backflow testing, where your license and certifications cover it

No sewer work? No sewer page.

Photos worth showing

The most useful plumbing photos show work a customer can’t see:

  • A new water heater with clean venting and connections
  • A repipe before the drywall goes back
  • A still from a sewer camera showing roots in the line, with the homeowner’s OK
  • A corroded fitting next to the new one

Your truck and crew (with their OK) show who’s coming to the door. Skip stock photos of a smiling plumber holding a wrench.

Seasons

In cold-winter areas, frozen and burst pipes bring a wave of calls when temperatures drop. Kitchen drains and disposals get a workout around big holiday meals.

Spring storms bring sump pump and drainage calls where houses have basements. Your posts can match the season, like a note on protecting pipes before the first freeze.

Your Google Business Profile

The primary category for most plumbing businesses is “Plumber.” Add other categories only for real lines of work, for example a category like “Drainage service” if you clear drains.

Google’s Business Profile guidelines say to “choose the fewest number of categories it takes to describe your overall core business.”

Google changes its category list from time to time, so we check each name in the category picker.

Your business name must be your real name. The guidelines give “Open 24 hours” as an example of what can’t go in a name, and the description can’t focus on prices or sales.

A drain-cleaning discount goes in a post. Most plumbers work from a home or a shop customers don’t visit, so the profile shows a service area instead of an address.

How our three services fit a plumbing business

  • Website rental, $99/mo. We build and host the site, with tap-to-call, a contact form with spam protection, HTTPS and basic search setup.
  • Google Business Profile management, +$99/mo ($198/mo with the website). We keep your profile accurate, add the job photos you send, publish posts and help with review replies. You stay the owner and add us as a Manager. The profile is free from Google; our fee is for the work. Already have a website? Google Business Profile SEO only is $99/mo.
  • Google Ads management, +$99/mo ($297/mo for all three). We set up and manage campaigns in your own Google Ads account. For a plumber, that can mean an emergency campaign that runs only when you answer the phone, a separate one for water heaters, and excluded searches like “plumbing jobs” or “plumbing supply store.” You pay Google for the ads directly; our fee covers the work, not the clicks.

We don’t promise rankings or a number of calls. Nobody honest can.

No setup fees. Every monthly price is on the pricing page.

What we’ll need from you

  • Your license number and who issued it
  • The services you offer, and the ones you don’t
  • Your hours and the towns you cover
  • How you charge for a visit
  • 5 to 10 job photos

Questions

Should a plumbing website have its own water heater page?

Yes, if you repair or replace water heaters. People search for that problem by name and want to see whether you work on tank, tankless or both.

Can I put my trip fee or flat-rate prices on the site?

Yes, and it answers one of the first things a caller wants to know. Publish only prices you’ll honor for every customer, and say what’s included.

Can my Business Profile name say “24 Hour Plumber”?

No. Google’s guidelines say the name must be your real business name, and “Open 24 hours” is one of their examples of what can’t be added. Show your hours in the hours field instead.

What should I do with sewer camera footage?

Ask the homeowner first, then use a still image on your sewer page. Leave out house numbers and anything else that identifies the home.

How can Google Ads handle after-hours plumbing calls?

With an ad schedule, emergency ads run only during the hours someone answers. If nobody picks up at 3 a.m., the ads pause until you’re available. We set this up in your own account.

Will you build a separate page for every town I serve?

No. One page per town with only the name changed is what Google treats as a doorway. We list your towns in a clear service-area sentence and on your Business Profile.
